Hi all.
Was discussing with friends what to do with the head of B.P. as punishment.

came up with:-

"Tar and feather him with some tar from the beaches and feathers from the dead birds, then tie him to the stake at low tide and let him drown in his own oil!"

"Send him to the Arizona tent jail for "life without parole" "

"Send him to the nastiest roughest U.S. prison we can find"

"Tie him to a stake, soak him in light crude and then flick lit matches at him"

"Send him to clean up disused Russian nuke subs" (!)

"Public stoning with oil cans filled with dirty sand from the beaches"

"Death by killer bees, while hooked up to an adrenaline drip"

"Tie him on a long rope to a US Predator drone and fly over enemy territory a few hundred times"

add your punishment here...

I think he should be sentenced to 100,000 hours of Community Service, or however long it takes him to clean up all the tar on those beaches with a doggy pooper scooper.

hehe... Nah, make it 1,000,000 hours. then he'd be cleaning up those beaches for the rest of his life, justice indeed.

Or send him to a Greenpeace meeting and let the enviro-whiners at him.

He already has one! BP Solar.

I don't think any of these punishments is appropriate. Accidents happen, and I'm sure Obama will fine BP a suitably colossal amount.

If you really care that much, maybe you should boycott oil?

You can't boycott oil, you can try, but you'll have to stop using your car, bike, the roads, water bottles, printer ink, all plastics that make pretty Tesla coils, Medicines, SEMICONDUCTORS!, TV, you'd pretty much have to die to boycott oil... wait.. no.. the coffin is lined with a cotton/poly blend.. so you can't even die to protest the use of oil.

But you can look out for overt buyers of BP that have logos posted everywhere like at ARCO. Chevron probably uses BP as well but I have to get gas from someone. *SIGH*

hehe... Nah, make it 1,000,000 hours.

He'd only have to live another 120 or so years to make that feasible. Do we really want to pay for the science to make that happen?

What do you propose to do to the head of the transocean?
(That's the company whose equipment and systems failed and actually caused the leak.)
