direction of sec and pri coils

are the coils of the sec and pri and feedback in the same direction? I've seen some in the same dri and others in different dir. i allways thought it was the same direction.:-?

I assume we are talking about tesla coils,

from all the coils I built, I never gave a second thought about the direction of the coils,
it does not really matter, to any significant extent.

For some designs the coils work better in the same direction, and for some, the reverse!
;) I recommend doing what works better.

... Though, it seems no one challenged the position of the tickler coil, so it looks like your previous question got answered. :)

best of all I'm doing something no one has done in a vttc- provide real bias to the screen in a 803, I don't want to "tie the grids together" I want to see how the voltage applied screen affects vttc ops.
