HazzWold1993: It's the primary when up on the pole but the secondary when Tesla coilers use it.

Here's an instructional video showing the winding, assembly, and potting of a pole transformer. Sorry if it's been pointed out here previously.
 Re. physical size, questioned earlier in this thread. The dimensions of a 100 kVA unit would be around 42% larger than those of the 25 kVA unit in the video, to double the core area (for volts/turn) and the winding area (for amps*turns). The closest 100 kVA to my house has radiator tubes sticking out from the tank to help with cooling.
