Hi, I'm Mike from Washington State University. I'm doing the Electrical Engineering program, in my junior year. I am looking for two basic things:
1. Some nice large GDT cores, I always seem to have small ones, and as I'm going to be building a bigger DRSSTC I would really love 2-4 nice cores.
2. Fiber Optic connectors/cable - Receivers/transmitters would be nice as well but I can get those myself too.

Anyways, I'd appreciate the help if you can, if not no problem!

Hi Mike,
I only have 1" DIA ferrite cores, but can help you out with the fiber optics. Just contact me at my website email address and we'll get you fixed up.
Thanks

Hello, I'm a college student outside US, can I participate in this program?

I'm building a flyback switch to power a plasma thruster... but I'm in the initial stages of development.
I saw your flyback driver and I'd like to know if you cans send me, or give me a discount on one of them) and a flyback.

Thanks
Carlos

Hello, I'm a student in the UK I'm the the 6th form at the moment, here is my thread about the coilgun that I am making with all of the details there Link2, I have an NUS with ISIC card if that counts as valid ID.

I'm looking for either a block of copper, approximately 60mm x 60mm x 10mm (for a mechanical switch), or a discount for an SCR which could handle 350 or 450V with a peak current rating of at least 1000A.

It would be great if you could help with either of these requests, if you cannot supply the copper, do you know anywhere where I could get copper with those kinds of dimensions, preferably in the UK?

Hi, My name is Michael and I was wondering if you could help supply some capacitors.
I am eying the '942C20P15K' MMC caps.
My parents refuse to buy any HV equipment for me so I shall have to use what little money I have.
Is there any chance of any sort of discount?
I'm In year 10, studying at Ipoh international school, Malaysia.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you very, very much!
Regards,
Mike

For any future student sponsorship requests, please contact me via my email address at my website below. I only check in to 4hv every so often, so if you want faster results, contact me directly via email.

Navrit Bal - I think i have a large SCR (made by PRX) that meets your request. If still interested, contact me via my email on website below.

Michael - Thanks for the request. Unfortunatley, we do not offer any of standard product line for the student sponsorship program.
