Thank You EVR
Did I send you my shipping address?

I am curious.
What kind of things does EVR do besides selling those several electronic HV kits through the website?

We design and manufacturer solid state Tesla systems for commercial and educational groups. We also do a fair amount of consulting and engineering.

Most recently we completed a Tesla coil install for the Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia as a subcontractor for Resonance Research. We also were a contractor directly for the FI in providing a complete Tesla Coil / Interface System for their multimedia computer system. Basically, they had a disco dance floor (designed by a firm in the Netherlands) which when danced upon by a million little kids starts to generate some energy, which in turn activates the large overhanging Tesla coil (its upside down in a giant cage).

We have also done some custom onboard computer system designs for largescale amateur rocket designs.

we need to join forces on the developement and marketing of kits and science demonstrations

i got some cool marketing ideas but i don't have time to run my own business operation because i am a student

Good luck with your business trying to bring attention to the science!

Hello

I am a Telopea Park School student.
I have been working on the LT3750 (see thread in HV board) and I've had almost everything go wrong angry as Mantis will know, wrong sized pads, burnt up resisotors, blown up mosfets everything that could go wrong seems to have happened! gaaaah DX. I want to use the LT346812 which is much simpler and easier to use (only 4 required components), problem is finding a suitable flyback transformer. 4starelectronics.com had a flyback designed for use with this but their asking price is $25 each! For a tiny 5.8mm × 5.8mm × 3mm flyback angry so I was wondering if you had a suitable flyback or if anyone knows where I can get one?

The required specs are:
*Primary Inductance >5 uH
*Primary Leakage Inductance 100 to 300 nH
*Secondary: Primary Turns Ratio 1:8 to 1:12
*Secondary to Primary Isolation Voltage >500 V
*Primary Saturation Current >1.6 A
*Primary Winding Resistance <300 mOhms

Coilcraft make transformers for use with the LT3750, if you're lucky they may give you free samples.

Yes Steve I already know that Coilcraft makes transformers for the LT3750, I got my transformer for the LT3750 as a free sample from them. What I am looking for is a transformer for the LT346812. Wait a minute... looks like the flyback for the LT3750 is within the required stats, oh well then. I guess I'll get that as the flyback, It's a alot bigger and I've already order a sapmle this month... well I'll try it out and see

Hello I am in need of a few fiber optic components. In September I will be a freshman in high school and I have 31 posts so I meet the requirements. I do have a student ID card from this previous school year I could make a scan of or something if you want verification and I can give you my shipping address by email or PM. Anyways, I am in need of a receiver and two transmitters that can be used together. I need them for Steve Ward's "New Driver" (the one used in his DRSSTC-0.5) so I would prefer that the receiver be OPF2412T but if you don't have that I can use any one that has the same pinout and is appropriate for Steve's driver. For the transmitters as I said before, the only need that must be met is that they are compatible with the receiver. I will be using these parts to make a medium size DRSSTC I am in the process of designing. Thank you,
