Nice site and layout. The DRSSTC FAQ / Q&A is a good addition. Keep up the good work - i'll be checking your progress . . .

Well, if anyone cares, WardLabs finally is up and running!

For weeks, I've been spending the spare 15min here and there I had to empty my notebook and my brains into the keyboard just for you! So, enjoy, check out the new gallery and the one that includes pictures from tech magazines and etc. I've uploaded four or five programs I wrote to help me build my coils-- primary layout tools, pole finders, etc. Also, I've cataloged most of my recent DRSSTC stuff (except for the last three days), and updated the SGTC page. Fixed the links (thanks stop4stuff) Added videos, new pics...

It's still far from finished, but I now consider it seaworthy. I hope to keep adding to it, but I start summer semester tomorrow and then go directly to the nursing school. So, it looks like summer's over for me... sad We'll see. I'm getting 18-19" at 360W with my DRSSTC and max spark is 27". I just built a "variac" on a modded MOT because my 320W variac needs a rest, on which I plan to upload stuff on soon.

Anyway, if you've made it this far, the link is Link2

If you see anything stupid/wrong/broken don't hesitate to tell me, it won't hurt my feelings!

Thanks

Really looking forward to some more pics of your DRSSTC all finished up. Really nice work, by the way. Glad you found the problem with the OCD circuit (guessing you left out the 100 ohm resistor?).

No, there was a dry weld on the ground of the LM311. It tested fine when I pushed on it with the meter, so it took a while to figure out what it was.
