meh. The longest wheelie I ever managed was about 100 yards :P
As for safety, I can't think of any BMX or MTB trials stunt that could hurt you as bad as getting run over by a car. So I think the real "extreme" riders are the people who commute on the roads.

Especially those who ride their bikes against traffic and actually think its safer since they can "see" the traffic!

Yeah!! Or the ones who ride 3 together, blocking all traffic behind them (if they get seen). But good on them for being active.
