I agree with Steve. That formula linked to earlier is wrong. There should definitely be a 0.5 scaling factor in there because the RF current is sinusoidal, and it has an approximately sinusoidal envelope superimposed on it too. So the two RMS conversion factors of 0.707 multiplied together give you 0.5
The sqrt(Ton / Period) or sqrt(Ton * bps) takes care of the fact that the current waveform is gated squarely on and off for a particular duty ratio.

Does anyone know if I made a mistake in the ScanTesla input.txt file i attached in my previous post? When I run ScanTesla, the output.txt file says that none of the models were tested. If someone could check out the input.txt file and either tell me what i did wrong (if that is indeed the problem) or correct it yourself i could just run a model in ScanTesla. btw thanks to all who have replied to my question so far.
