SSTC running roughly - why?

15 turns? Thats too much IMO, the core I use is 110mm2 unknown high permeability material, and down to some 100-150khz I use 4 turns on it. This helps to cut the leakage inductance and decrease ringing.

whats the inductance with your 4T?

Im using 12T on mine.. 250uH on the LC meter... dont want too much current drain on the UCC drivers..

anyways, I think this is fine with a MUCH lower Fres (150KHz) ... for a 2nd build of DRsstc..

It reads 100uH. But the gate drivers have no problems with that, they don't get hot with just the GDT connected but they get hot after I connect the gates (but that makes sense).

100uH sounds quite low to me... For 100kHz operation, I mean...
I would add at least a couple of turns...
