Here are some wildlife pictures I shot... nothing spectacular but thought I would contribute...

IMG 0428 Small
A morning dove with babies in a hanging flower basket in the backyard.

IMG 0310 Small
Not sure what bird this is, I was just practicing the weekend I first bought the camera.

Turkey2 Small
Here is a turkey that cut through my parents yard, crossed the road and heading into the field on the other side.

Albino Squirell4 Small
Sorry about the quality, this pic was through my screened in porch with my ol 1.3MP, and was a good 100-200 feet away in the neighbors yard and all the cam had was a 3x zoom. I just never saw a white squirrel before so I thought I'd try to take a quick shot. Not sure if there is a such thing or if it albino or some other genetic deviant.

Edit: since everyone is saying their camera specs I should mention I feel as though I am the only one without a SLR! A little too rich for me, and I am very happy with my digicam (although I would surely like an SLR). Compared to my friends dig Rebel its very hard to see a quality difference with mine when shrunk to 1280 pixels or less, or 4x6 printouts. A 10x12 printout the quality was noticably better but my photoprinter only does 4x6's anyhow. Mine is only 3.2MP, a Canon Powershot S1IS. I also really like that it can shoot high quality full vga digital video at 30fps. The first two pics above were shot with my Canon, while the lower two were with my old 1.3MP.

Just snapped these roos in our drive about 5 m away from where I run my TC's.
It is a mother and her two kids and another in the pouch with his head sticking out.
Taken from about 25 m without a tripod through the kitchen window with a Sigma 180mm lens.

Mountain goats near Granite Peak (highest point in Montana).

You may be surprised at what they are licking up

(Hint: it's salty and contains urea confused )

Yikes, no...

Our group urinated in that rock area. The goats can smell it for miles it seems. Within 15 minutes we had 4-5 goats around us.

Inland environments are often short on salt; it's not suprising that these goats would jump at any chance to top off on sodium. A more common source for many creatures, at least in areas with roads requiring the treatment, is runoff from roadsalt, used to keep highways clear of ice and rust out cars.

I'm glad we don't get such scary, lethal grass in the rest of Australia.
