Hehe, i found out what i am getting :D.

I will go ahead and get the GU-81M (already shipped, hopefully), and i got some FR4 board from that seller that was suggested (i actually did that immediately after i posted the thread, my mom was in quite a rush!). I also got an air conditioner compressor, it will serve many uses cheesey.

I can still get something worth 20 dollars, i have not decided yet. Maybe a pack of two 100MHz 10x scope probes, maybe some little GU-50's or some other small pentodes for perhaps audio, or amplification.

Stella, i did not want the copper clad for the tubes. I already made my rather cruddy PCB in eagle for a drsstc interrupter, and i am going to have it printed soon, i hope. Point to point is simply the way to go for high voltage very simple circuits smile

I'm mostly asking for clothes and kitchen stuff, mostly baking stuff, since most of the electronics things I want are too expensive. e.g. nice bench power supply, network analyzer, nice oscilloscope, you get the picture wink

For my twin brother I have ordered a Porcelain mug with silicone lid that looks like the prototypical Starbucks paper cup. Kind of a gimmick, but I think it will be well-received.

For my older brother I'm getting this rather nice looking keychain light. Rechargeable, multiple brightness levels, brighter than most keychain lights, it's so nice I'm thinking of buying one for myself too...

For my parents I know they want a netbook and some other computer things, so I'll team up with my brothers to get them something along those lines.

I know what I want and I'm getting it. My Dad recently came to me asking what I want, 30 minutes later I found what I want on eBay, 2 50kv .15uf Maxwell pulse caps for $75 :D. I have no idea what else I'm getting, I might try and get someone to get me a few bits.

I might finaly get round to making that TC of mine...
