i can't use forced air cooling, because i have secondary with two cork with bolts inside, for easy mounting,
and yes, secondary will heat quickly, because i will use 0,1mm wire for low Fo
oil will be better solution than epoxy glue... mistrust
and fro driver ? wich is better ? PLL or simple 74HC14 ?
also i think about CT feedback... neutral

The forced air cooling is on the outside, not the inside. Just get a fan and point it at the secondary coil. Thats all you need.

Also, blowing a fan INSIDE the secondary is a poor way to cool it. You won't get much thermal transfer blowing air through the inside of a smooth pipe. It needs turbulence to really get good thermal transfer. Blowing a fan at the outside of the secondary will create that turbulent flow and provide good cooling.

EDIT: Oops, the Dr. already replied.

The air would be blown against the *outside* of your secondary (i.e., where the heat is coming from). Blowing air up through the center of your secondary form would be like drinking a glass of water to extinguish yourself when your clothes catch fire.

Cheers,
Aaron, N7OE

PLL or simple 74HC14 ?
I would say a simple CT (antenna makes things more complicated, such as corona problems and stuff, as you know) and 74hc14 and the mosfet drivers. I say that because of the stability, efficiency, and simplicity.

Or, you could use the CD4046 or another PLL IC, for audio modulation. That would be a great demonstration. The PLL AM sounds great.

I decided use IRFP460A transistors (high speed, low Cgs), but they are 0,3Ron, so lot of heat will be created while operating... for that i get ceramic (i guess Al oxide) isolators, they are same thermo resistance as aluminum smile
GDT will be driving by 4 ( two in one side) TC4422 (To-220 case, for eliminate delay)
IRFP460 will have body diode blocking system (schottky and 18ns 15A hyperfast diode 600V), small 450V TVS (small, because eliminate large C of TVS)
also gate resistor will have reverse diode with resistor, so if Tdon are 40ns and Tdoff are 80ns, (two time greater) so Rg will be 10ohms and reverse Rgreverse ( i mean with diode ) will be 5 ohms
(Rg=(Rgreverse*Tdoff)/Tdon
any more ideas ? confused

How many BPS do you plan?

My tiny sstc only got the small enclosure as heatsink, there is no signicant heating when running 230vac into the halfbridge at about 5-10 BPS for longer runtimes, the primary will heat before the chassis.

i don't going to use interrupter, simple full-bridge with no DC cap, and just 4,4uF for snubbers
