I keep seeing this ad on TV, and it never fails to get a laugh out of me. Maybe it's because I can picture myself or others on the forum actually building something like this. Enjoy! Sorry about the wmv format.

This came on tv and my mom looked right at me and said "no you can't build that in my house". To be fair I would have tested outside...

I particularly like the "Hippies..." bit.

This reminds me of some other good commercials, the VW un-pimp the auto ones. I laugh every time.

Thats funny! I really like the hippie part. Andrew I too laugh everytime I see those Vdub commercials. My wife is German and she doesnt care for them too much. It reminds me of the old "sprockets" skit from SNL.

LOL! Oh, Boy!
/*wipes a tear cheesey

That was pretty funny. Anybody ever see the commercial where the boy builds the robot from stuff in the garage? Then when he shows it to his parents it goes terribly wrong... I can't find a clip, though I think it was Geico or AIG. I'm still looking.

LATER...
Ahh, I found it. "Science Project" by Nationwide Insurance. Reminds me of something I tried to build.

I have never really had the urge to build a hippie. Maybe it's just me...
