If you're dealing with a moderate amount of power, your cable should be at least 12awg to carry the current and voltage. Thickness of the cable is very important in an RF ground. Optimally, you would be using 10 to 6 awg cable. If getting it through your window is a problem, try to find some flat aluminum braid such as:

I'll see what Gimmens or w/e has of wire. I never fully looked at their selection, I just know they had many choices and you pay buy the foot. Would even house wire work? The more flat-copper solid hour wire? Else I'll look to see if they have any braided wire. Seeing its a hardware / house improvement store they will have house electrical wire.
