Another problem is that i need a ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 between hydrogen and oxygen to prevent an oxydizing flame. Therefore either way electrolosis is most probably a really bad idea in terms of welding(but of coarse silver does not oxidize the way iron would, that makes a huge difference)

Back to my last question, did any of oyu hear about oxygen concentrators used in hospitals, they have zeolite(a mineral that contains aluminium silicates[correct me if i am wrong]) canisters through which air is cyled a few times, the end product is free of impurities and nitrogen and contains only oxygen with slight impurities of argon. This sounds like a great thign for my purposes as no chemical reaction takes place and an apparatus is quickly built.
My question is wether or not any of you know about zeolite and where it can be purchases, and for what price?

use electrolysis, use a rewound mot. take off the secondary, and put like 4 or 5 turns of a heavy gauge wire (6 gauge or lower) and you'll get a massive amount of current, which is all thats important in electrolysis's. and make sure you rectify the AC, or the gases will accumulate on opposite electrodes each time the current alternates.

I have several reasons that make electrolosis useless, now does any one knoe about zeolite or not?

Is, I think, the technology you are after and if this

is anything to go by then your $30 is about 1/25 of the going price.
If you want to home brew this then you would also need to know what sort of zeolite they use (there a lots). You might be able to get just the zeolite for $30, but then there's the rest of the kit.
Incidentally, someone needs to explain to hotcrazyfruit that if you need to get something like 10KW out of the system then a MOT rated for less than 1KW just isn't going to work.

You can use electrolysis (or Al and Na2CO3) and an oxygen concentrator, but I don't think you will get very far with $30. You should also look into this sort of thing too, but I don't know how much it will help.

On the other hand, if you want a reducing flame you may be better off using air rather than oxygen.

Yes that ir really what my question was/is what kind of zeolite do I need? I know that it contains calcium, but no more.

This is more theoretical than practical as I will most probably use plain air.

Oh what tip for the torch should I use? Maybe tunsten carbide? Or would steel do?
