"I think some Canadians might be offended by that. "
Not really – If they visit people will just tell these folks to eat the yellow snow and feed the bears.
=] lol

Now, there's a sentence that would benefit from some punctuation.

The fibre farms do not use the genetically engineered products most people assume are the same (one would die of smoke inhalation long before a pop culture phenomenon could be observed.)

The fibre it produces makes the same rope that has been used for thousands of years (as some of it is still around.) More recently it is gaining a rather good reputation as a resilient material for clothing.

We do have a small group of very load problematic people here that gain far too much notoriety abroad. That being said -- I have watched more than few people die of cancer over the years. Some have even taken their own lives with over the counter medications (a rather painful cancer of the lymphatic system.) Cultural bias should not criminalize the serious therapeutic uses of this or any other substance. However, it must continue to be strictly controlled by a health standards board and discretionary use monitored by physicians.

We have national health care and pay more taxes than some in this part of the world. This means Joe Average is not going to be out robbing liquor stores to pay for his kid’s chemotherapy treatments or grandparents’ heart surgery.

We are left to wonder:
Who would throw away perfectly good “Lemon snow cones” that seem to spell Madgyver in the snow bank?
