Ok, so I stumbled across Link2 and they have some pretty cool LED's for dirt cheap. The only catch is that there is a $100 minimum buy order.

Seeing as how several hundred LED's can be had for a few dollars, this might take a good chunk of the forum to pull off. Anyone interested?

Notes:
- The *entire* order has to be $100, individual orders can be under that limit
- All LED prices are in USD, shipping prices will be quoted in CAD
- Orders will be shipped via whatever option is chosen for by the buyer, buyer pays shipping.

Current total $42 + $20.4 + $24 + $15 = $101.6
Remaining to minimum buy: $0

At their pricing, you can get a few hundred wonderful LED's dirt cheap. Different colours, but not all of them are superbrights...

I personally plan to make some photography lights, and a grow light for growing some veggies in the basement (much to Dale's mumbling on IRC). I'm sure there are plenty of ideas to toss around as to what to do with a bunch of LED's.

I want 60 of each of these as long as the postage to Norway is reasonable:

60º 7.6x7.6mm Round Lens P4 LED - White 0.05	60	3
70º 7.6x7.6mm Round Lens P4 LED - Red-Orange 0.04	60	2.4
70º 7.6x7.6mm Round Lens P4 LED - Yellow 0.04	60	2.4
60º 7.6x7.6mm Round Lens P4 LED - Blue-Green 0.05	60	3
60º 7.6x7.6mm Round Lens P4 LED - Blue 0.05	60	3
60º 7.6x7.6mm Round Lens P4 LED - Greem [sic] 0.05	60	3
70º 7.6x7.6mm Round Lens P4 LED -Red 0.03	60	1.8
70º 7.6x7.6mm Round Lens P4 LED -Yellow 0.03	60	1.8
Sum $20.4

This calculator will help figuring out how much light these LEDs emit: Link2

The site says that there is a minimum quantity of one type, as well as a minimum order.

Yes, we know, but since everyone is buying P4 LED's, there is no minimum buy requirement for the P4's now. Regular 5mm leds or other types still have the minimum buy order requirement.

And the total value of the order must be $100 or more, which is why this is a group buy.

Now that the minimum order amount has been satisfied, we should be ready to order, I will PM the interested parties to re-confirm interest and likely place the order on Wednesday.

If you still have interest, now is the time to buy in.
