The nearest airport is Nottingham East Midlands. Anyone who comes to Derby from abroad gets major cookies! Finn Hammer once came over from Denmark and I think someone once came from the Netherlands. Derby isn't as big an event as D.C's or the Florida one. See http://www.roffesoft.co.uk/tesla/teslathons.htm and http://www.tcbouk.org.uk/events.htm to get an idea of what goes on over here. We do drive on the left side btw, but it's cool, our cars have the steering wheel on the right hand side wink

Seriously though, if anyone does fancy a visit to Oz, I have a spare room.
Just don't come for a week and stay for 6 months! lo

When I move out, I'd consider it, too.

Dr Desmo and I are on diametrically opposite sides of this Aussie continent.

I'd love to fill up that room for a week sometime. I'll bring my semiconductor stash, too, and we can blow it to hell! =-D

I feel quite lucky actually living in Derby, about 10 miles from where the Teslathons are hosted. I was quite surprised to find that when I first joined the forum!

I should probably try and make it this year to the Derby one, but i'll probably bring along a laugh-worthy mess of coils cheesey

Christopher Robin, 10-4! Which way do you go? I plan on driving to St. Louis one day and stopping (13hours from Houston) and staying with some family or friends (thats where I am from orignally). Then I will make the drive to Chicago and up to Cheesehead land. I am tinkering with the idea of hauling up my New Braunfels pit with a nice supply of mesquite, so I can eat BBQ every day. cheesey
