Tin foil hats?

Nice stuff, although isn't the fiberglass going to irritate your unclothed body?

And also, would the streamers passing through the outer layer of clothing not cause heating and potential fire?

The suit is VERY hot to wear but luckily the night was cool. Hence the minimal under wear. The fibreglass is not a problem.

I was hoping the clothes would light up some more but the power level is too low. I would have liked some flames. Maybe I will dunk the clothes in salt water and let them dry next time to get a sodium yellow entry point. I am not game to run the big TC on it yet, as it is capable of burning through the facemask wires I think.

The only problem I had on the 10 second run was heating on the sole of my shoe. This had a preexisting hole in the sole over the ball of the foot and was probably burning. I had to wriggle my toes a lot, but otherwise keep dead still for that 10 seconds with eyes open to hold the shot while sparks zapped onto the fine mask wires an inch or two from my nose.

Here are a couple more close ups. Remember that I won't release the full pics until close to publication.

Time for a big update:
It's out there now. My site page is here.

Picked up in our local paper, the West Australian with pic below.
Picked up in online articles with around a dozen photos in
Aussie papers online like The Age
UK papers online like Daily Mail, Telegraph

Also about 50 sites inluding Digg (with 680 Diggs) and Neatorama

Will be filming this for another TV segment (Today Tonight) in 5 days time to follow up my last segment which was moderately advertised and was shown nationally.

I didn't know about that and there is nothing I can find on the net or Guardians UK site.
Are you able to send me the pages if you are able to get a paper or send the one you have. (Me mum likes to see them you see..LOL)

Scored articles in the Independent newspaper (I presume it was the UK paper - anyone see it?) and in B.Z. magazine in Germany. Pics on my site on the media page.

For those in Western Australia, it will show on Channel 7 Today Tonight on Monday 4th May ie tomorrow. Not sure if this will go national or not but my segment is being advertised on that station already and did go national last time.

The last Today Tonight TV segment in January went for 5 mins and is the second video down on my home page. It was done reasonably well. This current one took 6 hours to shoot and it will be interesting to see if they can get the video layering to match the still pic in some way. The cameraman took some "locked-off" shots to allow this.
I also took shots of my fluoro string firing as well as the creation of Adam hands, so there was plenty of material.
