There are loads of quotes I use allmost dailey. THis thread is for all your favourite quotes. I will get things started with some of my own:

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction. Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new. Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

Imagination is more important than knowledge. Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

I never worry about the future. It comes soon enough. Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

The above quotes were from Alvert Einstein.

Then there is Occam's Razor:

one should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything

The principle states that one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

Any one else got any quotes that they would like to share?

Adam

Here is another quote I like:

The difference between theory and practice: Equations don't explode.

I think I came up with that along time ago in my first year at college but I am shure I read it in a book some where so I am not 90% sure where it orginated.

My email sig:

"It is sometimes fun to do the impossible."

And my high school yearbook phrase:

"Who is learned?
One who, consuming midnight oil
in studies diligent and slow,
teaches himself, with painful toil,
the things that other people know."
