Hi-

I have some extra Trinitite From the first Atomic bomb test in New Mexico. The Trinity Test site. This stuff is mostly the green color, some red and opaque white (more fallout) the Red is from the copper in gadget itself or the transmission lines from the bomb. It is from less than 100 CPM beta/gamma to around 600 CPM Beta/Gamma.

It is rare and hard to get, goes for around $3-$4 per gram....I am looking to trade.

It would be more helpful if you would explain what sort of proof you'd accept, rather than asking for proof and then shooting down what he offers.

You can prove its authenticity as trinitite by holding it near a geiger-counter, but it may as well be impossible to verify that it's from the FIRST nuclear bomb.

So here are the pics. Its not much to look at, but its authentic trinitite from the first atomic bomb blast. Almost all of the activivty comes from CS-137 and CO-60. David Bowers accuired this Trinitite from the Los Alamos Missile testing range in the early 1970's. This material ranges from a few click above background to ~1220 to ~2200 CPM. The activity depends on how far it was from ground zero, how old it is, etc. the older this material gets the more harmless it is. The CS-137 has already gone through 2 half lives.

so whos interested?
still need to get pics of the red..........
