Yeah,
but it doesn't usually snow in Guernsey.
(BTW, I'm off work because the weather's too bad to travel. I'm in Sheffield, but work's in Buxton.)

Here in South Australia, we've had about a week of contiunuous 40 degree celcius days (about 105 F), I'd love to see some snow!

on Sunday it was 60 in the shade on my porch. The Santa Ana makes my nose go nutts. Glad it's gone.

Many of our local shops were closed today, including the village post office. The main post office was open, but said that there would be no collections or deliveries from it today.

The snow makes a pleasant change to the scenery, and I would be far more worried if it were warm in winter, than if it were cold!

It was -15 degrees here yesterday, which is about as cold as it gets this close to the coast. We recieved our first real snow fall earlier in January, with strong winds.
