Just like the description says. I need a replacement for the hgt1n40n60a4d since fairchild made them obsolete. Customer service is closed on the weekend so i figured you guys might know. Keeping the same dimensions are important.

Oh I know but they push 360 amps pulsed. Is it possible to buy direct from APT. Not many people sell their parts it seems. I'm going to seed some sot-227 IGBT's here soon too.

As far as I know, the famous SOT227's have died out for some reason and are now very hard to get individually at affordable cost.
The best alternative to group buying (which seems to be going rather roughly so far) would be, in my opinion, to simply wind the large coils with finer wire and use CM300's from ebay. I wouldn't count on SOT227 IGBT's anymore.

I was going to ask if the sot-227 package is being phased out, it seems it is. I really don't see why either. So much easier to find a heat sink for them as opposed to mounting to-247's without isolation or wimpy off the shelf heat sinks like the ones I use.
