Dr. Kilovolt -> how are you powering your ZVS ? I had the same exact problem with my ZVS when I was powering it from my bench test power supply - the overcurrent protection kicking in- decreasing the voltage , then the current decreases, it increases the voltage again and soo on... oscilating at some frequency. Moving to a transformer with some big electrolitycs solved the problem - no more screaming

I power it with a 46VAC transformer and use 600V IGBTs.
Edit: Just blew them. No more IGBTs left, just big FETs which I plan to use for a SLR inverter.

The screaming is not only on ZVS i had it happened on a IGBT bridge too, it only happened on a exact frequency and with the arc drawn out long. The 50V transformer was also giving only half that at that point.
Yeah we often have to use the word "had" incited of "have" in front of the word IGBT
