yeah i have a similar psu 30v 2 amp that got completly trashed when it got hit by a 9 inch bolt from a marx generator. Displys didnt work it was totally hosed. Even the fan didnt work after that.

Yea I drove an ignition coil with my homemade powersupply and now instead of regulating between 30v and 1.4v it only goes to up to 20v, Im glad it was only a mockup powersupply and not the completed thing.
