Snow in Texas! Isn't that unusual?
A few years ago we had relativly large amounts of snow.

It's been mostly frosty this winter however.

Yea, it is very rare for it to snow in texas. In fact, the last time it snowed enough here to see on the ground my dad was a kid, and he is 47! So yea, it snows here every few decades :P. Not necessarily true, but it is very rare. There is still some snow outside, but there is water pouring from the roof because all of the snow on it is melting :). Was a very new experience indeed.

The weird thing is that it was not freezing last night, about 34 degrees Fahrenheit, yet there is still snow outside. When i go outside even, i still wear shorts and short sleeve shirt, because it doesn't feel that cold :/

I went to my friends house today to chill (pun not intended) and i got some really great pictures. Thought the camera died, but today it worked again cheesey. I will download the pics now, hopefully they will download at all.

Here in Western Finland we have some snow, too. Too bad, there's not much of it. The last two winters have been very disappointing. We used to have a good amount of snow in winter, but now it just randomly freezes and snows but in a few days the snow is gone -> it's always wet and there's slush everywhere -> frown The weather is no good for any kind of winter sports and it's not nice to go outside because it's all wet and dark in there.

I am pretty sure that the climate change is playing a role in this sad story. Finland used to be the Land of Ice and Snow, but now it's turning to the Land of Slush and Rain.

Picture time.

First one is what i wear when it is cold outside. The second is on top of my pole pig. Third is my favorite. It is going as my wallpaper on computer. Fourth is on top of some houses a few streets down.

I have more pictures, but nobody really cares. :P

We have traditionally snow (and Santa Claus), but on the last years snow amount has significantly decreased. In 2007 we had snow:

I was on a scout camp recently and I took some pics:

Now the snow has gone..
