I fooled around with taking things apart and desoldering/soldering rather randomly in my young youth, then laid off the interest for electronics in the teenage years and picked it up again 10 years later, and here I am. 26 and close to finishing my 4½ year education as electrician.

20 or so. I have been interested in electronics for as long as I can remember, and got bit by the HV bug when I was 11 or 12. Joined 4hv when I was 13, back when it was called "Fulmen Labs" and had a link to Powerlabs on the front page, and built my first TC around the same time.

Happy birthday, Bored Chemist.

I'm 15 for few weeks, then the age register increases.
Edit, my first TC (10kVA 3~ DC resonant charging ARSGTC) has been under construction for over eight months and will be ready soon (read: hopefully before there aren't dark nights anymore).

25 here...Been into science since second grade. HV came when I got the internet at home! (15 years old)
I also was an original member of the forum! I remember Chris emailing me from powerlabs when he saw how disgruntled I was over Sam, to tell me he was going to be starting up a forum! Wow, I feel old smile)
