Older than god!
Oh no. Not again :P. *hypnotizes* You are not old. Coolest man alive. You are not old. Are not old.(words start to fade) Are not old. Are not old. Not old. Not old. Not old.
Oh, and before you say you are old and say your age, remember, age doesn't have anything to do with you being old or not. :P. You don't seem to act old, you just call yourself old.

I am 19 i have been driving legally for 3 years already with 6 years of experience no joke I got my license at 16 I was home schooled that is why I have trouble with communicating sometimes but I went to a trade school for auto mechanics and I was at the top of that class of 30 people and I got a high school diploma from the same school that's why it is sad I am unemployed because of my poor communication skills and I can hardly type it took me about 5 minutes to make this reply.
Wow, nice. I am homeschooled as well. I love mechanics. It does suck about the communicating thing though. Must be hard. Just don't feel bad about it, and to me it seems that you can communicate fairly well :). I now see why you would favor those two videos that i did :P.

I'm 22.
I recently re-joined this forum, but I did most of my electronic hobby stuff back in high school (TC, marx, flyback, jacob's ladder, coil guns), but I want to get back into it. I now have a much better theoretical understanding of what I was playing around with back then, but not much time to make new things in.
I know plenty of engineers who have been trained to solve particular types of academic problems, but have little ability to relate it to real life problems or implementations. So it's not just time that gives you experience, it's how much you do with that time.

I'll just say that my hair is white and that when I did my training no one believed that transistors would ever catch on! A Silver Surfin' Golden Oldie!
