You obviously don't know what you are talking about. Appears Philips coil is a time lapse photo as well. Point me in the direction of a vttc that outperforms Quadzilla. Quadzilla is the new WORLD record for vttc spark length...am I right?

@Chris:
This coil looks beautiful, I can't wait to see it in March. I've been following this project of yours for a while now. You did a great job pulling this together and it's great to see it finally wrapped up. Obviously you can't please everyone though, and you shouldn't have to. The only person's opinion that really matters is your own, and if you're happy with the coil that's all that is important.

@Garry:
The photo is not a time-lapse photo, it's a long exposure. If you view the photo properties on Flickr you will see that the photo was a six-second exposure at f/2.8 and ISO 100. I was probably running the coil at 15p.p.s.

@Boost:
I think that it is okay that you have a negative opinion, even if I don't agree with it. That said, it's one thing to have this negative opinion, and a completely different thing to voice it here. I doubt you would like it if someone started insulting you or your work in front of a large audience. It's one thing to give constructive criticism, but what you posted here is insulting, not insightful.

Phillip is exactly right; constructive criticism is one thing, but deriding and mockery are quite another, and are not tolerated here. I've cleaned up the thread. Let's keep things on-topic from here on out. Quadzilla on!

Well, I'm not sure about the spark length (check what a guy from my country has done Link2 ) and I've seen a video with 1m sparks but can't find it anymore.
But what I want to say, NOTHING I've ever seen compares to the look and build quality of Dr. Spark's coils. His work is just awesome.
