Oh no! You should get a refund.. I know, tubes don't come with that. Such a small thing ruins such a freaking large tube.

I like that last pic of the 4 tubes with the filament burnin'. Somehow the heatsink top caps remind me of a sub-station. I guess it is the ridges that remind me of them big 'ole standoffs.

Rrrrrrrr-vacuum tube top caps have ridges!

edit: Sorry, i guess i didn't see you got a warranty. Thanks Myke.

bummer mate, kindest of ther reagrds of the.. damn that sucks.

i just missed a travel to atlanta by a hairs thickness and a truckloads air speed velocity, but i would have come by just to crawl a million miles through broken glass to lick your shadwo, oh well om of to the nearest bar :D

OH MY! Dude. I have to come to your thon. That is just amazing! And how can you run CW with 9kv and not even tuned without the tubes getting red in .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 seconds?!
