The aforementioned have contributed financially to the continuing triumph of 4hv.org. They are deserving of my most heartfelt thanks.
not certain death, just hope it blasts your arm off first =/
I guess just hoping for a finger would be wishful thinking...
Sorry Tom540, I missed your question as I havn't checked back for a few days. As rp181 correctly pointed out it is indeed part number 33943 and they dont stock them.

May I ask, what is the intended usage for the capacitor? I'm pretty sure it's not just for exploding stuff or crushing cans

Was messing around an old SF generator in the lab recently. I have no idea what happened (my guess is that someone... well, I even know who actually as he was arguing with me on that topic - well, he put the three fuses in the fusebox where only one was meant to be in place - the machine is really old, so they made a three-socket fusebox where you have to set the fuse in the proper socket in order to choose between 110, 120 and 220vac mains feed), so there was something shorting out the high voltage coming from anode feed circuit, maybe a cap failed or some tube got wasted. The picture below is the double kenotrone I placed instead of the one that was placed on the output - it's filament was damaged and I thought it was a result of a mechanical shock. How wrong I was - a few seconds after I let my eye away from the new one it instantly heated up to glow and it's filament blew off before I could switch it all off. So (yes, we have a virtually unlimited storage of those) I set up the third one just to make this pic and instantly cut the power before anything goes any worse - it was a success
ps also we have a virtually infinite number of ruined mobos on the scrapyeard, so I'll try out a tiny 12v CWDRSSTC on the fets from them - non-decoupled H-bridge with tantalum bypass, the signal will be fed from a CT through a schmitt gate to four UCCs with delay circuits rigged to enable pins in order to inject some deadtime - hope those things have P-FETs as well, or I'll have to use a GDT anyway.

Putting 2.2kW through a halfbridge of these (44n50, doesn't show it in pic) at 140khz CW mode. Exploded and caught on fire. The back side of the drain pin's supportive plastic is blown away, though the angle from this picture doesn't show you the other side of the pin. Surprised me.

Paracelsus agreed too:
We'll now take a break from switched-mode carnage, with some bad components from an old Grundig table radio I'm restoring. This was so soon after WW2 that the Germans were still making capacitors out of ear wax.
