They are .01uf and 1600volts. It would take alot of these capacitors to make a tesla coil capacitor, but also very cheap.

The bid is $25 US for 200 brand new capacitors, and apparently WIMA is used in many tesla coils, and they work well.

Link2
Seller says "These have been used as MMC capacitors in Tesla coils with great success. I have used them in Marx banks, DRSSTCs, and multipliers with no problems". He also says that they are good for very high pulsed currents. But remember, You have to derate the capacitors by at least 2x because they are rated 1600volts dc, not ac. And after that it is best to leave a 5kv-10kv safety margin

They might be good for a low powered CW or Villiard cascade.

I run the same Wima caps in my SGTC, only mine are 2kV 47nF. Never had an issue. 200 for $25 is a fantastic deal, I paid $1 each for mine (retail store, ughh)

I wonder if 'hvguy' is on the forums... oh well, asked about shipping to Canada, if its good enough I might just spring for it.

Edit: They're all gone, I ordered one, dunno about the others.
Second edit: I suppose they aren't gone... but he has yet to even ship them to me yet (purchased on the 26th).......
Third edit: Finally shipped

I can't wait till I have the time to build a MMC so I can finally build an induction heater....
