I made this topic to see how many people are interested in starting an EU migratory junk box. In all the other topics and on irc there where quite a few people that might want to join in.

So please respond to this topic if you like to participate and tell us in what way you would like this junk box to be organized.

Biggest problem will be customs and shit, as we would need to cross borders alot more often than the one in US.

But I am in, if we can find a cheap solution, and the value of our junk might have to be higher if it should be feasible to ship it around all these countries.

If this goes ahead, I'm happy to throw in a big portion of quality junk. In fact, I probably might as well start it.

There are no customs, import duties, etc unless the box goes outside the EU.

Sure. I have plenty of junk. I checked and it will probably be simpler to start it from here, so PM me if you want to be the first recipient if in the UK.

I might be interested, mostly because I have too much stuff to get rid of. I'll have to have a bit of a sort out though and see if any of my stuff would actually be worth putting in, because I don't want to turn it into a travelling dustbin cheesey

Hmmm... I'm so tempted, looking at the USA box... But I don't think I can add much of value junk, nor even accept too much... neutral
And then have to pay $100 just to ship the 10kg box to somewhere else - too big burden for me at this time, I assume angry

So I guess I'm going to skip this one, as I presume I can't join later..

It's not sure how and when we'll start the junkbox yet. Chris Russel said he could also pass the USA box along to the EU so we don't even have to start our own one. It might be a good idea to wait two more weeks or when the USA box has been passed around and then start the box in the EU. That will give all the people enough time to decide if they want to join in.

Marko depending on you location you might be able to join later.

well there's adequate interest so we can now start to make some decisions.

First we'll need to decide :
To take the box from the USA and pass that around here in the EU or we can start our own box in Europe

We also need to decide a maximal weight that will be 5KG or 10KG

And like Conner said the one who will but a MOT in there and take all the rest will be shot on sight or zapped death with their own MOT cheesey
