After running a ton of demos, with excessive run times at maximal PW and PRF im satisfied with my small DRSSTC. The sparks up to the date are 110 cm and IGBT-s are baby-ed. The only adittion is that i ordered a spun 4X13 spun toroid from John Freau and i will include it with the DRSSTC also.

As soon my camera will arrive today i will make some photos of current completly finished state. Here are some photos and details trough building :

Link2

All parts, everything that was made for it was made on CNC. Including secondary end caps, base, primary supports and some other small bits. Base and secondary are from crystal clear acrylic. Everything that was bought, was bought the best. The interrupter is advanced one, with original panel.

I want to finance my big DRSSTC and im selling this one. As usually buyers concerns are, here is some details:

1. I will ship the coil registered to anywhere in world completly FREE
2. Coil works on 220 VAC. However i will include all needed capacitors, rectifiers to convert the coil from 220 to 110 VAC operation for FREE
3. Al trough this coil never blew any silicon (more than 25 hours of work for now surely) i will include all spare parts (including IGBT-s, IC-s...) to build 2 more DRSSTC-s and still have parts. Just in case anything goes wrong, and it should not. Im including all these spare parts for FREE

I will post current pictures today. There will not be spun toroid since its still in the mail from John but its included with coil.

Offer me something and take this orphan to a good home. In complete lack of interest i will put it up on ebay.

Simply because i cant afford to build a much bigger full bridge version without selling this one. I really spent alo, alot of money in it which i will never get back. Second is that first i need to go for a not nice surgery and don't know when i will back to DRSSTC world.

And i will post photos today, sorry for not doing it yesterday. I was in hospital

Here is photos. The only thing missing is the :

1. 4X13 spun toroid from John
2. Interrupter pots don't have knobs. Unfortunately here does not exist knobs for such little pots. So you should eventually buy it from digikey or somewhere else. But it works fine this way.

I would like to sell it here instead of ebay because there it will go for something like 100 $. And only the toroid costs 2X more.

It looks beautiful, Kreso.
I would like to say, I would be interested in purchasing the coil, but a fair offer for something like that would be as much as a semester of college or a used car, more than I make in a four month's work. I could point your coil out to the physics and EE departments here at college if you would like.

And dont forget all parts you would get extra and free, weeee wink . Im reasonable man, and reasonable offer will work. I understand i will never get even close to amount i spent in it, total loss as my friend would say, but it was worth it !. And anyway i don't like it as before, i love building, debugging, thinking stage. As soon its finished and working okay i lost interest neutral

Surely you can offer it to anybody. But you can PM me a offer too don't be shame.

Seems that you would have more success selling on ebay, as most of this forum seems to consist of younger people with allowances, or "starving" college students. The ones here that could buy it, likely would rather build their own. (We all like the design, building, de-bugging phase as well).
Id suggest selling off the parts seperately to maximise your return...

i agree with matt. Most people here that have that kind of money will prefer building one. I would check with local university's

Would it be possible to just buy the spare parts to build one?
