These definitely do not look like proper pulse caps to me. The terminals look weak and the cap itself will probably start to leak after few shots and then it will make a lot of mess when it fails.
My first pulse setup employed similar units and all it could do was to slightly dent a Coke can. Nevertheless, please be very careful when playing with these. A small mistake in the design caused catastrophic failure, which devastated a room, destroyed the setup and last but not least severely impaired my hearing for couple of days. Trust me, that hurts!
