I'm not trying to be mean or anything here, but with regard to the whole bare feet thing on the grass, or concrete or anywhere else, and the aligator clips for power and all, I really don't get the impression that you grasp the lethality of a pole pig.
And I really think that some time soon you're going to tell your friends to come over and play with some arcs and then somebody is going to get hurt really badly.
I think you should back up from this while you have some time, let the excitement wear off, and allow your mind to think a bit more clearly about the respect required to work with lethal power. Even a good pair of shoes is no match for these kinds of things, so please be careful.

I agree with Hazmatt, please be safer with a pole pig. There are no second chances with them... Use thicker wire that is actually attached to the pig instead of clips. Alligator clips can slip off the connections and also their insulation can't stand to high voltage well.

Some destroying of circuit boards.
A suggestion on your video’s. Maybe put the camera on a tripod and back it off to get the pig, you and the pig stick in action, as getting sea sick watching, ugggggggggg.
A suggestion on safety, since you have a setup you like with MOT and such, mount MOT, wires, input from mains, output to pig, all together on wood with little legs and get it off the grass!
This way all you have to do is plug in and drive and not have to worry if you connected something wrong or a lead fell off.
Now that it is mounted on a nice little table and such, get a 60 watt red light bulb and connect to mains so you know when the pig is Hot! One day you will be a bit tired and try to draw an arc off an object and nothing happen....... an assumption is going to be made.
What I am trying to say is HV is fun and can be very safe if you take a little more time and stand back and look over the setup. What would Dr. Spark say if he walked up?
I am not trying to be a pain and complain like parents, just some suggestions from a friend that might save you or someone watching the video.
I hate to have to hop on my new 2009 Road Glide and come over there to slap the s@$*t out of you for killing yourself! Last tank of gas got 72 mpg……!

I'll have to back Dr. Spark and Hazmatt up here, please be careful when playing with lethal voltages and currents.
You should understand electricity well enough to know every possible path the HV current could take, and make sure you won't be part of any of these paths under any circumstances. Generally this means staying away from bare feet, damp grass, wooden chicken sticks, alligator clips that might come loose, and the like.
Oh, and if one terminal of your discharge gap is HV and the other is grounded, always put the grounded one on your chicken stick for some extra insurance. Then two things have to go wrong (ground wire fall off AND chicken stick breakdown) before you go to the gruesome, twitching, smoking death that you've miraculously cheated so far.
4hv has absolutely no obligation to help with your safety, and we accept no liability either.
