I want to sell the secondary coil of an ignition coil. It was burnt out so....yea.. It has enough wire in it for a bunch of tiny tesla coils i am sure. It is soaked in mineral oil so it may not sell horribly easily. How much would it be worth?

Also for sale are modern diode-split flybacks. I want to know how much i could sell them for before i listed them on ebay. I would like to sell them for at least 10 bucks a pop. They are all pretty good size and i would test them before i sell them. I would test them up to high enough voltage to jump about 2-3 inches to insure they will last.

I would like to sell the high voltage HOT transistors too. I would like to sell them for about 4 bucks each(they are like 1000 volts and above and about 8-10 amps) or 3 of them for 10 bucks. I know that might be a little high but i am POOR!

Would 8 pin soic package ucc37322(same as ucc27322 but different temperature rating.) and ucc37321's sell? I would also sell 74hc14 in the tiny tssop package. I would probably sell all of them together for making a sstc(steve wards mini halfbridge sstc).

I am going to sell some mcov's if they are good. Rated at 10ka and 22-27kv.

How much would high voltage standoff's sell for? I am talking about the ones that come off of the power lines. They are pretty big and it would be good to run a wire though and top off a tesla coil secondary to use for mounting the toroid.

How much would tesla coil secondaries sell for if they are 2 inches in diameter and 10 inches of winding and 11 inches of pvc pipe? I would coat the coil with minwax clear coat polyurethane(thank you Dr. Spark for suggestion) with many coats and put a top cap on the top and make a nice termination on the bottom of the secondary. It would be about 800 turns of 30 gauge double build. Would they sell?

If there is any interest i might be able to also make little toroids. I would prolly sell them for about 20 bucks each.

I don't know about the US market but here in UK, crt TV repair parts are being sold off dirt cheap due to lcd tv popularity,
e.g. I bought 35kV rated flybacks at 20p each and 1500V/16A HOT for 25p each. (HR6549 & 2SC5149)

As for the sstc parts I doubt they're worth very much to anyone - unless YOU make something 'sellable' from them.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
If selling via eBay I suggest some 'new age' contraption with plenty of supporting Bu!!sh!t ;)
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

One poorly performing Tesla Coil would sell for much more than the component cost.

How about a gate drive circuit with the popular ucc37322 and ucc37321?

Fat chance.

Sulaiman has an excellent point though. If you want money fast, lack work-ethic and like using ignorance to your advantage there's a good buck to be made on ebay as either a quack, flux capacitor reseller or both.

It looks like mowing is my only way of getting money... I don't mind mowing(i already do) but a little extra money would help alot. I guess i will buy a little organizing box and fill it will components as an 'electronics hobby kit' or some sort of 'beginners electronics kit'. Just fill it with transistors and leds and diode and capacitors and stuff like that. Then i still need to sell my nst and i will sell kits for making high voltage flyback power supplies and stuff.

Have you ever thought about just getting a part time job? Your over 15 yr. old right? You could probably work 3-4 hours a day for maybe 2-3 days a week or something like that. That would probably get you money quicker than anything else shades

That's what I did when I was 14. I started washing dishes after school for Mater's pizza. It wasn't long till I moved into baking, making , etc. etc. Should help you with your lack of funds issue. I'm in the same boat as you though. I love high voltage but rarely have the money to do a project. I work as an electronic technician (calibration)but I have a wife and 6 kids! cheesey Hope you find some work. Good Luck.
Happy Sparking,

The problem with selling to DIY'ers is that nobody wants marked up prices, and nobody wants anything that they didn't make themself.
