I have finally finished thisn project, it have been underway for a long time and its a releaf to have it trolleying on its small wheels :D

Photos of the contruction, timeline etc can be found here: Link2

So far its only in danish but the pictures speak for themselves, short of time I couldnt get the english version done in time and im gone all weekend, so just had to show it off before it got old :D

I do not have any good spark pictures from this final build yet, I dont have any good background and the light from the tubes makes focussing abit weird.

It looks very nice. I like that it is pretty symmetrical and the tubes are on the outside of the case. I also like how you did the feedback windings.

But unfortunately it didnt last, I had to rewind it beneath where it is on the pictures in a single layer, as on the picture there was a flashover and the feedback coil melted together in a fiery scene, but nothing else died luckily :)

Thanks all :)

About the feedback coil.

Could it be placed underneath the primary, I think I have seen this before, so it could maybe be placed under the wood so only the primary is visible?

Im still using magnetwire on the new feedback coil, but this time its in one layer and there do not seem to be any problems with it, even at 300V overvoltage.

I am already using a plexi ring above the feedback coil, the flashover was not from secondary/primary to the feedback coil, but it was between turns on the feedback coil as it was layer on layer to start with.

Tomorrow I will get some black textile for a large black background for some good in focus spark pictures :)

I have added 8 of the best spark pictures I took today, they can be found at the bottom of the page: Link2

Really helped with a black textile background and got my 350D focused good :)
