Thanks guys,
I’m always pleased when somebody sends positive feedback wink

The latest set of pictures including the already posted demon is based on new approach. I placed a piece of glass on the top load and then I sprayed some salt water on it… Some of the pictures remind me Lichtenberg figures…

Enjoy…

If you leave the glass there long enough, does it start to get tracks burnt into it?

In anycase, I love the daemon one. it looks freaking awesome.

Lovely work! I am impressed when someone with an artistic edge - like yourself is able to combine this with coiling. Nice photography! Well done!

Oh, calling me an artist – that’s something for my ego… wink

Honestly, I think that you guys are the only right "appreciaters" of the beauty of arcs and plasma and for most other people those pictures must be a kind of chocholate-box art…But thanks for the comments, I'm very happy you like it!

Regarding the burned tracks question:
The glass gets hot but no tracks are burned into it…When I tried a piece of transparent plastic instead, the tracks were burned very quickly and then the electricity stayed flowing only inside of them because of conductive path the burned carbon makes…(see the enclosed picture). Maybe my big coil could burn also tracks into the glass – it is many times more powerful so I can try it. Maybe it could be nice substitution for the Lichtenberg figures acrylate blocks which I like so much but where you need megavolts to make them...

Tracks in plastic... The intial path (M shape) was made by salt water

Ok, friend of mine with his ugly full frame Cannon EOS5D (I’m so jealous wink ) came again for a visit... We played a lot but most of the pictures we made are not so original anymore… However, one detail is quite impressive to me... I call it a “Plasmafall”

Excellent stuff, keep up the good work.

There are some pictures that I miss, that you have posted some time ago in an other thread, possibly "Post your cool pic here". They are of flowers, and in some pictures, the sparks are greenish.

Nothing special this time... But, I like this picture. It could be used as cover of some Star Wars like sci-fi book. I call it space ship attacks shades

BTW: Is there any new picture conversion setting of the board engine? The uploaded picture looks like crap in the full screen view! sad
