but how are you gonna get the right amount of voltage for the tubes filament, or are you going to mod the psu in some way

A magnetron is a vacuum tube of sorts, with a filament that needs to be heated, so my guess is the SSMOT will have some "filament" output that is at least close to the desired voltage and current of the filament in the tube Kreso will be using.

I already breadboarded a SMPS for filament, stacatto PSU and HV power supply. I will try to modificate original filament but possibly i will make my own HV SMPS, not use this from MO (just steal the transformer). I want to build everything on bigger PCB board.
BTW what filament voltage and current uses a magnetron, never knew that one
