Want to buy solid state microwave transformer together with its driver. Possibly in working shape. If dead the transformer should be alive

If you mean one of those inverter microwaves, I took one apart and to my dismay found it to have no MOT or MOC. I'm pretty sure it is indeed a solid state. It's all disassembled, and I threw out the original case/frame. All thats left is the circuit boards.
Last time I checked, it still worked. All you have to do is clamp all the safety switches shut, punch in the time and press "Start".
The turntable motor sadly got discarded with the case.
I'll post pics in a bit.
EDIT: here are the pictures. Just let me know which parts you need. I'd prefer to keep the fan simply because I'm a pack rat, but if you need it, it will probably get put to better use in your hands. wink

Just the yellow thing? Or do you mean the whole thing? Either is fine.

The board on the yellow thing. Basically everything in circle except your table :)

Woah, shipping that thing all from California might be so expensive that it might not be worth simply going and buying a new solid state MO here. Some are *really* cheap. I wonder how cheap can you get it Andyman...

I was just looking for some Al heatsinks on ebay, and for like $12 of Aluminium I got $35 shipping from Canada. I just don't think low value items are worth shipping overseas. Maybe by ground shipping but that usually takes months.

Its hard to find SS MO here. I was just in market and none of them is SS. A friend of mine who has market present me one new microwave for helping but its not SS, just has small mot and this is why it was not heavy.

Anyway i buy everything worldwide

I have a suggestion....I get a Hell of a lot of stuff and make it a habit to find sources. For SS MWO they are being used more and more; especially in commercial applications. IF you can find a commercial restaurant repair facility, they will have many of them. They are also thrown away often in fast food places. I've seen some in the trash in fast food places more than a few times. Usually stainless steel and light with no "weight on one side" like a MOT design. Keep your eyes open for a stainless steel box - they are out there.
If that is not an option or too much hassle - simply use the mail (no UPS/FED-EX)as commercial shipping is where the money will be lost. The whole thing is less than a pound.
The best way to save is through what's called a "book or publication rate". It's slower but costs very little. Just slip a CD-ROM into the package and it's legal & proper.
