Kreso is correct, it can be full DC on the output of transformer, you already need a retifier diode on the out of the transformer (there are some negative peaks on the coil) but it can be Half-Wave retifier with a good cap on it.

the mosfet is just turning on and off but at each pulse the secondary makes a full wave and when tuned to the right frequency at each pulse that transformer makes a full wave at just the right time, you end up with a clean sine wave which needs to be rectified to get dc.
