Hello all, I had a bout with a crazy bug from hell last night! It woke me up at 5am by landing on my hand. I shook it off and felt him jump on my head! Turned on the light to see a bug looking very ready to fight with me on my pillow! He came at me, and I blocked. He came again and I did a matrix move and dodged his crazy self! He went to the wall, and was breathing heavily as he waited...I grabbed a shoe and nailed him. He fell to the bed and then TOOK off again! I threw the shoe and nailed him in the air. He died on the floor...Stupid fellow...I am better than him!
Anyways...What is it? here is a pic of it. About an inch long, and really aggressive! ive never seen one before! BTW, I live in Florida, USA. Matt

It does not have the modified back legs, so cant be a grasshopper or a Mole Cricket. I highly suspect its a type of beetle. It has its wings below a protective layer that it lifts just before flying. Which is a common trait for beetles.

Yea, no grasshopper..This thing was mean! Seems a little too thin to be that other beetle. I really wonder what it is and what it was planning to do? I need to sleep with my airsoft gun from now on... Matt
