One note: If you have not decided which end is the top, try to put the overlay patch job at the bottom. Top of coil is HV and bottom is more current then HV. So the splice will not be stressed if at lower end of secondary as much. Looks good, now just give the coil a bunch of coats….and it will sing…
Thanks for reply, and i must admit that i was thinking about putting that soldered part to the bottom. I need to buy spray for coatings for wire like these so i can protect the secondary like it should be. Thanks
