Whoa, I'm guessing you are definitely going to be getting some arcs to your primary. That secondary looks like it should be longer. Looks great though.

Yeah - sorry to say that now but it looks like it's going to flash over like crazy. I had my secondary base just 2-3cm under the last primary turn and it still flashed hopelessly, sparks would emerge from like half of the secondary length and hit the primary.
I wouldn't now use anything but conical primary, especially for large coils.

I see you already have long breakaway point rod coming out of the top of the toroid. Maybe all the sparks will come off it and keep them away from the primary. It looks great !
