Is this Teslathon open to everyone or do you need to have an amazing working tesla coil? I live in southwestern Colorado and might be able to make it... but I don't have an impressive tesla coil... I just want to see all the other amazing ones in person!

(I removed the input that this would be my last post as got a lot of PM’s that 4HV still loves me. Thank guys as just an old man trying to help where I can.)
Yes, the Teslathon is open to all, as there are a lot of people who do not build coils but love sparks. We had three people come last year from the local power company that just wanted to see sparks and enjoy the company. Yes please come as more 4HV members, the better the group picture and get to enjoy meeting members. Every member I have meet in person has been a great experience and looking forward to meeting all 4HV members some day!
Working on Shirt design now and will post once Print shop send me pics.
Hope to see you there indeed.
Rgs, Ch
BTW already had six 4HV members RSVP! Hope more comes indeed! Hint Hint Chris R!
Hahaha Thank goodness. Make sure you don't chnge your mind and leave, that would be devastating. I mean seriously, the world has a tendency to implode when people named Chris stop talking on places called 4hv.
I would like to rsvp, but i am not so sure i can come yet. BTW, thought you should know, when i spell checked RSVP it came up as versa :P.

I'm the one that contacted you about bringing the 10kva, so far the only limitation is the ballasts. I've ran it at 20kva for about 10 seconds before the ballasts get pretty warm, amazing though.. :P 20j per shot at 240bps.
That's great to hear that the Discovery channel might be showing up. I'll be sure to whip up these SSTCs and the audio modulated VTTCs, possibly a couple DRs.

hi chris, i have done a few things for discovery over here in the UK. they have quite a bit of experience working with Tesla coils. i have only worked with UK directors of course but their production values are very high and they should be able to get some good footage. did a shoot for them a couple of months ago called raging planet 2. should be out sometime next year. got some really good slomo shots of bark being blown off a tree with an exploding wire cap bank. would love to come but its along swim from the UK,then there's the walk as well:-D
