wow.... People stress over the littlest things, it annoys me. Come on, its a camera flash circuit, its not gonna kill you, it only just slightly worse than a static shock...... I hate it when new reporters think they know everything about electricity. its only 330V.....

I got a duracell ad before the video, I wonder if they did that on purpose. Ill bet with this alarmist media things like metal cutlery and tables with pointed corners will soon be a thing of the past.

Agreed smile I mean, if a kid took a NST to school and started shocking people with it, THEN id be really worried, but disposable cameras, in their non modified form (no more added capacitors etc) are completly safe

God forbid someone shows up to school with Pikashoes.

I zapped myself with a camera flash before, and the pikashoes are about 4 times more painful.
I personally think the rusty, pencil gripper, compass they make ya buy for math class is more of a weapon than the camera.

Now thats a weapon.

Hmm... I think they should ban the SAT and ACT. They are FAAAR more painful, pose a greater threat and are more of an assault then a 330VDC shock at a few milliamps.

Seriously, is some kid gonna get arrested because he took a karate class once and MIGHT know how to attack someone?

Funny thing about this is I was just pondering if Illinois defining a stun gun (or other shocking device) as a firearm means you need a FOID card to purchase a disposable camera or stove or car with ignition or shock pen or CRT TV or microwave or ...etc
