hey, with this coil get mote than 4000W power, it is lot of amperes, so 1 minute run kill mosfet's (one side, 1/2 bridge was dead ) spark 50cm suprised just put bigger toroid cheesey

PLLs belong is FM radios, not tesla coils wink Although Steve C. really seems to like his, and it does appear to work for him. I did get one working in both a DRSSTC and an SSTC once but they were just too sensitive.

You’re running some really high power levels for that feedback circuit. My experience has been the feedback loop performance improves with higher output power levels. Generally I’ll see better ZCS and improved stability. Have you noticed this as well? How do your start the system oscillating?
