Corrected the link -> Link2 Anyway, it would be great to be there in a Teslathon... In Finland we have far too few coilers to organize anything like that.

Is that a VTTC?

Danggg, that was awesome! I love the idea of having the Audio TC do the guitar solo while (I'm assuming) regular diaphragm (how boring) speakers pound out the accompaniment. Makes me want to see a bunch of TCs used as amps for a band. Through the fire and flames on a TC would be pretty cool!

Also, I couldn't help but think of this song when listening to the audiomodded TCs: Lightning Does the Work. Ironic perhaps?

This is the quietest tesla coil I've ever heard, until it blow a resister and made everyone jump.

OH MAN.... I can't believe you were recording then!!!! I must have jumped out of my shoes when that thing popped. ....It was a TINY little resistor could have even been an 1/8th watt it was that small but sounded like a pistol! But no harm done; I was actually surprised at the noise level - which doesn't really come across via video.....it was a touch loud.

It was really GREAT time and the food was fantastic... THAT particular coil was really unique in sound it actually was "deep" as if the 60Hz was a soft base drum peddle, struck rhythmically and amplified. I REALLY HOPE that the workmanship of some of the goodies was shot close up. Great stuff!
