The XENO part of XENOSONIC II is straight form the "Alien" series. The creature was referred to as a Xenomorph.

Uh no. Its the other way around. The term Xenomorph is merely a latin derivation meaning an "alien" that "changes form", as such is the life cycle
of the popular Alien in the movies. The Alien movies certaintly didn't create the term.

"Xeno" is merely a latin derived prefix which means "stranger, foreigner, etc...."

Looks like a match to Aurabesh, Star Wars. If I'm correct, I'd like chocolate chip, please. :)

I put up some additional information on these boards on my website and will be posting videos soon, so check back often. There is an updated schematic / block diagram in place, and i will be adding a complete instructional / specification in a day or two.

If you were identified as a receiving a demo unit for review, these should be going out in a few weeks. We'll keep you posted.

The output is going to be a 0V (OFF) to 9V (Vbat) control signal varying somewhere in the audio frequency range with some pulsewidth and duty cycle.
If you're flyback circuit can accomodate this, than yes, it will be able to drive it. Its more a function of your flyback design rather than this interface.

Well, making real progress on the Xenosonic. Received final revision boards this week and am presently testing them prior to final release.
Here are some photos. The boards are designed to fit in a Serpac EMI enclosure using the enclosure's internal mounting bosses.

The boards are shown with all components installed except the LEDs and optional fiber optic drive circuit (upper left corner) Numerous calibration pots are seen on the board provided various gain adjustments and duty cycle control. The two shaft
pots shown in bottom right are for volume / pulsewidth control and maximum pulsewidth settings. These will install through the upper panel and be controlled via knobs. The circular silkscreen on the left is the 20-step LED VU digital meter which is selectable for several different measurements. The two holes in the board accomodate two switches from the upper panel.

By end of next week we should have numerous youtube videos posted as well as final instructional manual, and documentation.

I can barley wait, I better get my coil ready. Any update as far as pricing goes? Will you also be selling a fiber optic kit or do make those on our own?

The fiber optic interface is already on the xenosonic board. You just need to populate the components if you want it.

For a receiver, its basically just a few parts to make your own to TTL interface.
